The Mission
To create comprehensive reference maps of all human cells—the fundamental units of life—as a basis for both understanding human health and diagnosing, monitoring, and treating disease.
The Teichmann Lab is one of the leading groups in the Human Cell Atlas project, a recently launched initiative with the bold plan to build a comprehensive map of all human cell types.
Mike Stubbington, an alumnus of the Teichmann Lab is leading the team within the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute that is working on this exciting new project.
